New Cali homes require chargers for electric cars

The city council of Palo Alto has passed a new ordinance that would require all new single family homes to come equipped with electric vehicle chargers.  This ordinance resolves the issue of not having enough charging stations in the city for EVs, but it also brings them a step closer to becoming the one of the greenest cities in the country.  Check out more SmartCar news in this week’s roundup.
