Whether single or head-over-heels in love, Valentines Day can be enjoyed by all thanks to the wonders of modern technology. Here are some clever mobile apps that can help couples, new matches and even singles make Valentine’s Day fun!
Forgot to make reservations for Valentine’s Day? Fret no more! OpenTable will help you find the perfect dining spot in the nick of time. This app allows you to see restaurants near you, including their menus, real-time table reservations, reviews, prices and directions on how to get there. OpenTable is available on the web, iOS and Android.
Want to stretch Valentine’s Day out for whole month? Then download the 30-Day Relationship Challenge app. This app challenges couples to do something sweet and nice for each other with the end goal of making the relationship stronger and able to stand the test of time.
Most challenges are pretty simple, like tasks you already do every day, while others may require a bit of spending. If you don’t think you will be able to accomplish a challenge, you can simply swap it for another. Available for Android and via the Amazon App Store.
Remember how you used to get so excited playing Twister because it gave you an opportunity to innocently flirt with your crush? You can still enjoy that feeling of excitement, but on a smaller scale, with Fingle, an app that lets your fingers do the talking … and flirting. Fingle is a puzzle game for iPads.
The game requires two players to drag up to five buttons of one color onto their matching targets. The movements required to accomplish each level make it impossible to avoid contact with the other player, which creates for a more interesting and intimate moment. Free or paid versions are available on the iPad.
Are you single and ready to mingle but have nowhere to go? Use the Gravy app to help you find events or parties near you. This app can help you meet new people who enjoy the same things you do.
Gravy can help open up a whole new life for you, as you get to explore happenings that you had no clue existed. The app is available on the web, iOS and Android.
Banking on the success of dating apps but with a twist, High There! aims to connect people who enjoy consuming marijuana. The app matches people based on how they consume marijuana and their activities when high, so people with high energy are not paired with those who prefer to chillax while high. If you’re a pothead and want to meet other potheads with the same interests, habits and trips as you, this app is available for Android devices.
