Cloud is the platform of opportunity for business transformation| #know15
Jason Wojahn, president of the ServiceNow business unit for Cloud Sherpas US, Inc., pointed to the ubiquity of the cloud platform during his conversation with theCUBE at ServiceNow’s Knowledge15 event in Las Vegas. “There are very few things you can do in technology that give you the extensibility, the scalability, of the cloud platform,” he said. “There are very few customers that we talk to today that don’t use some sort of cloud application.”
The bridge in the corporate back office
Cloud Sherpas partners with salesforce.com, Google for Work, and ServiceNow to provide cloud advisory and technology services. Wojahn noted that ServiceNow’s platform follows the trend of ITSM that extends beyond the IT space. “Tools like ServiceNow are the bridge in the corporate back office,” he said. “It’s commonly implemented as an IT tool first. There is an education process that you have to go through that reveals opportunities to expand the platform.”
Monitoring client needs
Wojahn believes that ServiceNow’s newly announced online store will provide benefits to customers and allow the company to monitor clients’ needs. Cloud Sherpas has a trio of products available through the ServiceNow store, including an application for law firms and legal services.
In addition to partnering with forward-thinking companies like Google and ServiceNow, CloudSherpas also partners with businesses faced with a more archaic system. “We meet the customer where they are; we’re transforming business one workflow at a time,” Wojahn said
