Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) takes place in San Francisco, California from June 8 to 12. The opening keynote, during which we expect Apple to make some major announcements, starts on Monday, June 8 at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern Time.
As per usual, Mac, iOS and Apple TV users can livestream the WWDC15 keynote via their device, but what if you have a non-Apple device and are still interested in hearing what the Apple team has to announce?
VLC, if you are unfamiliar with it, is a free video player with video streaming capabilities that can decode Apple’s livestream data.
If you do not have VLC installed, you can download VLC for Windows here or VLC for Android here.
Once you have VLC installed on your device of choice, follow these steps:

Apple will post event updates on its ‘Live’ site and SiliconANGLE will cover all the announcements from the keynote.
Some of the announcements we expect to see at WWDC15 include details about iOS 9, due for release in September, Apple’s new Beats Music-based streaming music service, new Apple TV hardware, and an Apple Pay rewards program and possible launch date in Canada, and more details on HomeKit.
