At Apple’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference that took place last week, the company announced iOS 10 and with it a host of new features including redesigned and improved functionality for its Photo, Map, and Message apps.
At this stage, iOS 10 is only available in a beta version for developers, which you can download if you are part of the Apple Developer Program. Since launching iOS 10, Apple developers have had over a week to explore the new operating system and reveal a variety of iOS 10 features that Apple did not reveal at WWDC. Some of these features include the ability to delete default apps, optimize your device’s storage, improve your sleep routine, and more.
Another iOS 10 feature that will be coming iPad users way in September is the ability to increase your productivity with a split-screen mode called Split-View.
To take advantage of split-screen view on your iPad now, you need to download the iOS 10 beta 1, or the public beta due out in July. Alternatively, you will just need to remain patient until the official release happens in September.
