Gtmhub acquires business reliability platform startup Cliff.ai

Strategy execution platform company Gtmhub Inc. today said it has acquired business reliability platform startup Cliff.ai for an undisclosed price.

Based in the U.K., Cliff.ai offers a platform that it claims can monitor and track every business metric autonomously and identify key drivers. The platform finds the root cause for changes and notifies relevant teams and team members in parallel. In the company’s words, the platform is like a key performance indicator “check engine light” for business and operations teams.

Cliff.ai’s platform works with existing data engineering workflows by directly integrating with data warehouses and operational systems. Using the data, it can monitor, continuously learn from and explain sudden changes in business performance.

The platform’s capabilities include a vast integration library that allows users to pull data from any source and bring it into a unified platform with no-code data pipelines and predefined templates. Using machine learning algorithms, the technology automatically monitors data across an organization and identifies easily overlooked issues when relying on dashboards and reports.

Users of the platform can quickly discover which factors lead to unexpected changes in business metrics by automatically grouping correlated anomalies and identifying all events and key drivers. Finally, the platform allows users to take action and respond quickly to issues with alerts that are integrated into existing workflows, be it Slack or email.

The acquisition is said to accelerate Gtmhub’s vision of helping companies achieve better results through improved alignment, visibility and execution of their strategic and operational priorities.

“The truth is that effective strategic execution can’t exist without operational excellence,” Ivan Osmak, chief executive of Gtmhub, said in a statement. “Both are necessary for companies to achieve the best possible results, and both have data and insights at their core. This is why KPIs are a key component of our platform and why we’ve been interested in the operational intelligence space for some time now. By acquiring Cliff.ai, we can now offer an active monitoring system that tracks metrics, changes, and opportunities to create truly reliable business operations for our enterprise clients.”

Gtmhub will continue to offer the Cliff.ai capabilities as a standalone product but will also combine the two platforms to create a comprehensive solution for organizations to ensure operational excellence while executing strategic priorities.

Prior to its acquisition, Cliff.ai, formally known as Greendeck Technologies Ltd., had raised $740,000 in seed funding, according to AngelList.

Gtmhub was last in the news in December when it raised $120 million in a round led by Index Ventures.
