Verity ES launches with data eradication enterprise software solution

Verity ES officially launched today with the commercial availability of its data eradication enterprise software solution.

A sister company of Boulder, Colorado-based Revert Inc., Verity ES helps enterprise-class data centers, information technology asset disposition companies, cloud services providers, third-party channel solutions providers and managed service providers permanently remove data from a roster of heterogeneous devices. The technology offered by Verity ES is described as intelligent, patent-pending data eradication software with operational support and process analytics.

Verity ES seeks to address data privacy and protection concerns in large data centers and data-intensive private and governmental organizations. The company argues that unrelenting data growth, internal governance, legal and compliance mandates and end-of-life IT equipment dispositions challenge companies to ensure data security as they implement new media technologies and applications. Data security requirements affect all organizations managing end-of-life equipment, regardless of whether it is owned, leased or used via a third-party managed services or cloud services provider.

The company’s software allows organizations to overcome the cost and resource challenges historically associated with data elimination. Verity ES’ offering is claimed to boost residual value recoupment and refresh or consolidate technology more quickly, with almost no disruption to ongoing data operations.

Using Verity ES, the company says, users can eradicate data with three clicks of a mouse. The service supports data eradication processing of more than 500 devices from a single appliance without any performance degradation, with support for country-specific data erasure regulations to ensure that standards are met, according to Verity ES.

Key features include automated eradication assessments and approach determinations that determine the quickest and most efficient method to eradicate data on each device and media type. Data can be eradicated across a broad range of devices and storage media, including high-capacity hard disk drives, solid-state drives and nonvolatile memory host controller interface SSDs.

The service also offers maximized residual asset value returns by automating critical aspects of the data eradication process to increase data eradication speeds and sanitization success rates. An advanced data analytics module allows customers to monitor operational performance in real-time using the data collected during the eradication processing, while support from Verity ES includes assistance in determining the most efficient processes to reduce overall eradication timelines.

“Our experience working with customers around the world over the past 15 years illuminated an unmet need in the market for a comprehensive data eradication solution that delivers process optimization and support, improved throughput and ease of use, and advanced data analytics and diagnostics to increase efficiency,” Saeed Karim, chief executive officer of Revert Inc. and Verity ES, said in a statement. “Verity ES meets these requirements and more.”
