Tenable adds support for on-premises and hybrid deployments to its exposure management platform

Network security company Tenable Holdings Inc. today announced that its Tenable One exposure management platform now supports on-premises and hybrid deployments via a new integration with its Security Center 6.1.

Tenable One, launched in October, unifies asset visibility and associated vulnerabilities across the modern attack surface for preventive security. It’s an exposure management platform that delivers context-driven risk analytics so security teams can move from reactive firefighting to prevention, allowing cybersecurity teams to anticipate and block threats before they can cause damage.

With today’s announcement, all Tenable One customers gain access to both Tenable Vulnerability Management and the Tenable Security Center. With the addition of on-premises and hybrid support, Tenable customers now have the flexibility to choose where they deploy their vulnerability management assets — in the cloud, on-premises or both for a hybrid approach.

Security Center customers can also now explore exposure management through Tenable One, enabling them to take full advantage of advanced exposure management features like Lumin Exposure View, Attack Path Analysis and Asset Inventory analytics. The combination is said to aid in cyber risk analysis and unified visibility of all exposures across the attack surface.

Customers using both Vulnerability Management and Security Center can use Tenable One for a unified view of their exposure data across the entire attack surface. With included cyber risk analytics, organizations can use the service to prioritize remediation activity. Security Center Plus and Security Center Director have also been integrated to deliver additional enhanced visibility and simplified management value.

“Visibility into cyber risk factors should be a right and not a privilege and yet for too many organizations who only deploy on-premises vulnerability management solutions, there’s no way to truly see the full picture of where the greatest threats exist,” noted Chief Technology Officer Glen Pendley.

Tenable Security Center 6.1 is expected to be generally available in the second quarter of 2023.
