Claroty adds IBM, NTT Data and eSentire as managed security services partners

Industrial cybersecurity startup Claroty Ltd. today announced the expansion of its FOCUS Partner Program to include several managed security service providers, including IBM Corp., NTT Data Corp. and eSentire Inc.

The FOCUS Partner Program is an initiative by Claroty designed to equip partners with the skills, tools and processes necessary to operate across the entire enterprise security services lifecycle. The program aims to foster long-lasting relationships among partner organizations, thereby increasing their lifetime value, establishing a trusted-adviser partnership and ensuring the execution of jointly defined business outcomes.

To join the MSSP program, IBM, NTT Data and eSentire have undergone extensive training and certification. The process is designed to help end-user organizations improve their security posture and reduce risk across the extended internet of things or XIoT, allowing them to focus more on their core business operations. Additional MSSP partners in the program include DirectDefense Inc. and Vector Technology Solutions Inc.

“IBM chose Claroty as our Emerging Partner of the Year because its solutions bring an important level of innovation across a breadth of products that work well with IBM’s OT, IoT and medical equipment cyber security services portfolio,” Rob Dyson, global OT security services business leader at IBM, said in a statement. “IBM is able to support these unique environments and help our customers manage their cybersecurity risk because the Claroty products can be leveraged to support many use cases to include the integration with IBM’s X-Force Threat Management MSS.”

Since its inception, the FOCUS Partner Program is said to have trained and certified more than 2,000 sales and technical professionals, aiding them in improving the security posture of end-user organizations and reducing risk across XIoT.

Claroty is a venture capital-backed company, having raised $640 million to date, according to Crunchbase, including rounds of $400 million in December 2021 and $140 million in June 2021. Investors include SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Bessemer Venture Partners, Standard Investments, Rockwell Automation Inc., Schneider Electric SE, LG Technology Ventures Co. Ltd. and Team8 Labs Ltd.
