New OpenText Cloud Editions release harnesses AI and analytics capabilities

Enterprise software provider OpenText Corp. today announced the release of its latest Cloud Editions product that now harnesses artificial intelligence and analytics capabilities.

OpenText Cloud Editions 23.3, released as part of the company’s two-year “Titanium X journey,” expands OpenText’s offering with enhanced analytics to provide businesses with the ability to garner intelligent, data-driven insights more quickly and effectively.

The new release sees updates across all aspects of the Cloud Editions platform. Leading the list are improvements to OpenText’s ValueEdge platform. ValueEdge now has artificial intelligence capabilities to give software development teams the tools they need to streamline every stage of the software lifecycle. The AI-enhanced service also offers predictive insights into potential risks associated with software delivery, maintenance and governance.

OpenText Magellan Data Discovery and BI Reporting, another core component of OpenText’s Cloud Editions, is now available on the public cloud. The release provides a user-friendly interface for advanced data discovery and visualization powered by the analytical capabilities of OpenText Vertica.

The company claims the latest generation of OpenText Vertica revolutionizes the way businesses use their data. By integrating the power of a data warehouse with the capabilities of a data lakehouse, the solution is designed to enable businesses to access and analyze both structured and unstructured data without restrictions.

Also released as part of the latest version of Cloud Editions is a new version of Documentum for Healthcare. Documentum offers a centralized platform for all patient data to optimize care delivery and improve patient outcomes.

Another release, OpenText Core for Google Workspace, which has a planned launch on Google Workspace Marketplace in the near future, is aimed at enhancing the digital employee experience and streamlining business processes.

On the security front, OpenText noted that its Fortify on Demand service has recently achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Authorization, positioning it to assist government agencies with their risk management policies and mandates. OpenText also continues to pursue FedRAMP authorization for multiple solutions within OpenText ITMX and OpenText Cloud for Government.

“OpenText has for a deep history of helping our customers connect and manage their operational and experience data and now there is a whole new frontier of learning data from the exponential growth of AI that will lead to new possibilities,” Mark J. Barrenechea, chief executive officer and chief technology officer of OpenText, said ahead of the announcement. “The latest innovations in CE 23.3 combine the power of end-to-end integrations and AI automation to help customers seamlessly interconnect and exchange insights across clouds to learn, innovate and grow faster than ever before.”
