N-path analysis and advanced AI lead Teradata’s blueprint for successful digital journeys
With developing technologies such as cloud computing and generative artificial intelligence showing great promise to further simplify enterprise and data management, it’s critical for those looking to harness the power of these technologies to find resource-friendly and affordable solutions.
Teradata Corp. is dedicated to leveraging its expertise to empower customers with both advanced analytics and AI capabilities while deriving tangible business value using techniques such as n-path analysis.
“N-path analysis allows you to understand a customer journey, a digital journey of a customer, maybe on your website, maybe in a multi-channel way,” said Hillary Ashton (pictured), chief product officer of Teradata. “You’re able to string together that journey to make sure that they’re having successful journeys. That’s a key advantage that we have.”
Ashton spoke with theCUBE industry analysts Rob Strechay and Rebecca Knight at Possible 2023, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how Teradata empowers its users with AI, the company’s strength in advanced analytics and how Teradata’s architecture ensures its clients have a successful digital journey. Leveraging the awesome power of data
Generative AI and large language models are one of the hottest topics in tech today, with the technology evolving at a pace far faster than anyone could have predicted. Recently, Teradata launched ask.ai, putting the powers of large language models into the hands of its customers.
“It helps unlock the capabilities that you have in Teradata today in a way that doesn’t require re-documentation or watching a video, just a conversation of, ‘How do I use this function? How do I do this thing?’” Ashton said. “It automatically creates some code for you, and then off to the races you go.”
Data is everywhere, and getting to outcomes is critical. With Teradata’s Enterprise Feature Store, a customer can use data to create usable assets from the data, according to Ashton.
“This Enterprise Feature Store now allows you to move much more quickly instead of you build your version; you build your version, I build my version and we hope we get to the right answer roughly at the same time,” Ashton said. “That reusable aspect of data as a product and then the analytics on top of that data as a product, I think is core sets of the building blocks that let you move faster with data.”
