Ivanti teams up with Securin to strengthen vulnerability intelligence offerings

Information technology security software company Ivanti Inc. today announced a new partnership with cybersecurity firm Securin Inc. to enhance its Ivanti Neurons for Vulnerability Knowledge Base with advanced vulnerability threat intelligence.

The partnership will see Ivanti’s knowledge base incorporate data from Securin’s Vulnerability Intelligence product. Data provided by Securin includes MITRE, the National Vulnerability Database, CVE Numbering Authorities, vendor advisories and others.

With the assistance of Securin’s application programming interface, Ivanti Neurons for Vulnerability Knowledge Base is claimed to be better primed to integrate with and enrich the capabilities of other Ivanti Neurons products, including IT Service Management, Risk-Based Vulnerability Management, App Security Orchestration and Correlation, Patch Management, Zero Trust Access, Discovery and Unified Endpoint Management.

For Ivanti customers, the data from Securin provides a better understanding of threat context and findings. Customers can correlate exploitable vulnerabilities to patches, enable quarantine and remediation for unpatched devices running risky applications and information technology administrators have a complete view of enterprise assets and risks.

Ivanti Neurons for Vulnerability Knowledge Base gives security experts immediate vulnerability threat intelligence plus risk-based scoring of vulnerabilities based on real-world threat information.

Securin’s Vulnerability Intelligence provides the security team with an entire spectrum of vulnerability information through a dashboard or integrated APIs. Powered by more than 1,500 intelligence feeds, Securin VI’s artificial intelligence and machine learning models continuously measure a vulnerability’s risk by dynamically tracking its trajectory from exploitation to weaponization.

“By partnering with Securin we are able to provide robust intelligence and risk prioritization to customers on all vulnerabilities no matter the source by using AI Augmented Human Intelligence,” Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala, chief product officer at Ivanti, said ahead of the announcement.
