Copado opens beta access to enterprise DevOps AI assistant CopadoGPT to all customers
Copado Inc., a DevOps platform for Salesforce and software-as-a-service deployments, today announced that it’s expanding access to its generative artificial intelligence chatbot, CopadoGPT, to all customers in beta mode.
Copado said that its AI assistant operates as a “resident expert in all things Copado,” by using an AI model with a decade’s worth of Salesforce experience backing it up. Founded in 2013, Copado was built as a Salesforce-focused platform for end-to-end DevOps processes, continuous delivery and integration. The company said that its deep knowledge and proficiency have been embedded into CopadoGPT, which will now be at every customer’s fingertips.
DevOps is a methodology in software development that integrates and automates the work of software development teams with information technology operations to shorten the development time of software to get features to market as fast as possible. This combines the use of development automation tools, collaboration and communication, monitoring, testing and other systems.
As part of its dedication to DevOps, the company said, it has shifted its focus toward AI to assist developers and operations teams to make it easier for them to work together to build, deploy and manage software thus bringing about the creation of CopadoGPT.
“Copado is an AI-first company with a focus on maximizing the customer experience,” said Federico Larsen, chief technology officer at Copado. “The expansion of CopadoGPT’s beta access marks a significant milestone in our journey to embed AI deeply into the fabric of Salesforce DevOps. This AI DevOps adviser is not just a tool; it’s a partner that enhances our customers’ capabilities to innovate rapidly and with confidence.”
The move to open up access to the AI assistant comes after months of internal use and validation by select customers, said Copado. Doing so also helped the company reveal how powerful the capabilities of the platform were when put in the right hands and led to significant adoption of the tool.
With the chatbot, users can ask CopadoGPT about anything related to the platform in plain, conversational English prompts and receive comprehensive up-to-date responses. In addition to providing information compiled from various sources, it also shares links from related articles and documentation specific to the query. The objective is to be an advisr that can guide users through their DevOps journey in one place.
For example, a user could ask CopadoGPT about how to use environment variables and continue to follow up about errors in code, should they arise after following instructions. Generative content from the AI assistant can be used to help improve DevOps processes and collaboration between teams.
In particular, users can find generating test cases extremely tedious. However, with English prompts, CopadoGPT can quickly create tests for Copado Robotic Testing, the company’s AI-powered test automation system with simple descriptions. It’s similar for creating release notes and documentation for software changes, which can tie up time for developers and operations who want to get on with rolling out features.
“To ensure value and market fit, we made Copado customer zero for CopadoGPT,” said Nick Cook, vice president of customer success at Copado. “We found it is more than just an AI platform; it’s a revolution in customer support and success. By providing precise, AI-driven insights and support, we’re not only solving problems faster but also preempting them.”
CopadoGPT is currently in beta mode access for all Copado customers and signups are available on the company’s website via a form.
