Aryaka’s new service merges security and network performance in a single platform

Secure access service edge provider Aryaka Networks Inc. today announced the launch of Aryaka Unified SASE as a Service, a new secure networking solution designed and built to deliver performance, agility, simplicity and security without tradeoffs.

The new service combines Aryaka’s unified single-pass architecture, global private network backbone and security, observability and application performance capabilities in a single platform delivered as a service. The result is said to deliver security without complexity, negative performance impact or compromised user experience.

Aryaka says Unified SASE as a Service has also been designed to allow partners – agents, value-added resellers and managed service providers — to help business customers wherever they are on their journey to secure network access success. With the new service, partners can modernize legacy multiprotocol label switching networks with agile and high-performance software-defined wide-area network and secure remote access, optimize network security and performance for multicloud applications, and transform network security.

Unified SASE as a Service offers critical design elements, starting with the company’s OnePass Architecture, which enables distributed policy enforcement through a distributed data plane, unified control plane and single management pane. Aryaka’s Zero Trust WAN also traverses its global private network backbone, which operates in more than 100 countries.

The release includes comprehensive networking, security and observability Services, including the new Aryaka SmartSecure next-generation firewall with a secure web gateway, anti-malware and intrusion prevention system. Users also gain access to flexible delivery, allowing them to choose their preferred approach to delivery — Aryaka or third-party and implementation, and managed, co-managed or self-managed.

“Current solutions all compromise on some aspects of performance, security, flexibility and agility, creating risk and user experience gaps,” said Chief Product Officer Renuka Nadkarni. “Aryaka’s Unified SASE as a Service is the only solution that meets customers where they are, enabling them to modernize, optimize and transform their networking and security environments today and in the future.”

The new Unified SASE as a Service is making its debut at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas running March 11-14.

Aryaka is a venture capital-backed startup, having raised $192 million, according to Tracxn, including a round of $50 million in May 2019. Investors include Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Trinity Ventures L.P., Mohr Davidow Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners III L.P., Third Point Ventures LLC, InterWest Partners X L.P., Presidio Ventures Inc. and DTCP Management Co. LLC.
