AttackIQ’s Ready! 2.0 update enhances cyber defense with on-demand testing
Security optimization platform company AttackIQ Inc. today announced AttackIQ Ready! 2.0, a managed breach and attack simulation-as-a-service that combines fully automated and on-demand adversary emulation testing to allow organizations to rapidly validate their cyber defense.
AttackIQ Ready! 2.0 introduces added customization and seamless integration with AttackIQ’s Flex service to extend testing anywhere through a simplified user experience. The combination is said to empower security teams with expanded insights into their security posture and control effectiveness.
The features in the release have been designed to assist organizations that struggle with consistent testing due to budget or staffing constraints. AttackIQ argues that because most traditional testing methodologies can be too resource-intensive, organizations are often left blind to security gaps and thus potentially susceptible to cyberthreats despite making many enterprise-grade security investments.
“At AttackIQ, we reject the idea that proactive continuous security validation of an organization’s cyber defenses is too expensive,” said Chief Commercial Officer Carl Wright. “We believe every organization, regardless of size or expertise, can achieve a robust, threat-informed defense.”
AttackIQ Ready! 2.0 includes seamless integration with Flex, enabling users to leverage agentless test packages from a unified testing interface to broaden the scope of visibility into cybersecurity posture without the need for dedicated agents on each system. The platform also offers testing on-demand, allowing for fully managed, scheduled testing and the flexibility to run adversary and security control tests at any moment. The feature is complemented by added customization options, allowing users to tailor the content of their scheduled tests according to specific needs.
The platform offers expanded capabilities with detection validation, integrating more security controls to fine-tune and enhance real-time detection and response mechanisms. The reporting feature has been enhanced to provide more detailed mitigations and recommendations with actionable insights.
The update also includes an enlarged test library that enables proactive defense testing against a wider array of threats, including those highlighted in Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency alerts. A new benchmarking feature allows organizations to measure their security performance against others, offering a comparative perspective on cybersecurity validation efforts.
