New compliance solution from Securiti aims to simplify enterprise AI regulation management
Unified data control startup Securiti Inc. today announced the release of a new automated compliance management solution that aims to enable enterprises to navigate complex artificial intelligence and data regulations more efficiently and easily.
The new Securiti Compliance Management solution seeks to address the issue wherein companies often rely on costly and error-prone manual processes to remain compliant with data regulations. Thrown into the mix more recently has been the rapid rise in AI that has led to various new regulations that organizations must follow.
The new solution uses technology to reduce manual labor, automate compliance and comply with all recent AI regulations, such as the European Union AI Act, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and the Singapore Model AI Governance Framework. The solution also assists in helping businesses navigate complex overlapping regulations, reduce costs for compliance and streamline collaboration across organizational silos.
Securiti Compliance Management platform automates compliance through global AI and data frameworks using common controls and tests.
Key features include the ability to manage and customize compliance projects to specific compliance initiatives, using project-level reports for monitoring. The service leverages a frameworks library, a built-in library of compliance standards and regulations that can also be customized to unique needs.
Users can automate compliance tests through a comprehensive library of predefined tests for multiple frameworks. Options include the ability to create customized tests that automatically evaluate compliance and populate Securiti’s Data Command Graph. Testing can also be augmented with human insights through targeted assessments for a thorough compliance evaluation.
Users of Securiti Compliance Management also gain access to Securiti Copilot, a generative AI chatbot that can provide information on regulatory requirements through natural language queries. Securiti says Copilot alleviates the burden on compliance teams, facilitating a deeper understanding and application of regulations through AI-powered assistance.
“Data teams within an organization often work in isolation, unaware they’re duplicating efforts in establishing best practices for data and AI governance, which drains IT resources and hampers innovation,” Chief Executive Rehan Jalil said. “Our holistic approach to automated compliance prepares organizations to succeed in compliant business initiatives with agility, efficiency and specificity.”
Securiti is a venture capital-backed startup, having raised a round of $75 million in October 2022 before taking further funding in March 2023. Investors include Citi Ventures LLC, Capital One Financial Corp., Mayfield Fund and General Catalyst Group Management LLC.
