What to expect during the ‘AI Infrastructure Silicon Valley – Executive Series’ event: Join theCUBE Aug. 16

The fast-paced evolution of AI hardware is transforming enterprise computing infrastructure, sparking innovation from the core to the edge. In today’s competitive and data-driven business world, new solutions are popping up left and right.

Over the past number of months, various ecosystem players have rolled out fresh approaches in a rapidly crowding environment. Deep tech is at the forefront of product development, according to theCUBE Research Executive Analyst John Furrier.

“The custom silicon that is coming out from the Broadcoms of the world — the Nvidias and AWSes of the world — that’s going to power a lot of stuff, and it’s the nexus of all networking storage,” Furrier said in May.

What comes next will be a key area of interest during the at the AI, Hardware and Infrastructure Silicon Valley event on Aug. 16. The event will also be an opportunity to discuss who the innovators of AI hardware are amid an evolution of enterprise computing infrastructure.

The new developments will be explored by Furrier and theCUBE Research Chief Analyst Dave Vellante as they talk with thought leaders about the evolution of Silicon Valley in the wake of generative AI hype. Join theCUBE on August 16 for our “AI Infrastructure Silicon Valley – Executive Series” event, available on demand on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio.

Evolving enterprise computing infrastructure with AI innovations

As AI hardware has rapidly evolved over the past year, various developments have emerged from key industry players. That includes Dell Technologies Inc. recently announcing it would expand its infrastructure portfolio with new platforms powered by Nvidia Corp.

“Organizations are rushing to experiment with AI but there are many challenges to achieving ROI. Data sovereignty issues, legal and compliance concerns and data quality are all top of mind,” Vellante said at the time of the announcement. “Our research shows that companies are turning to industry leaders like Dell and Nvidia to help provide AI expertise and services to lower risk and get to ROI sooner.”

Nvidia also recently partnered with digital infrastructure company Equinix Inc., with a goal of simplifying the deployment of AI infrastructure. The private cloud service allows organizations to manage their Nvidia DGX supercomputing infrastructure to build custom AI models.

Intel Corp. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. also have outlined a partnership focused on AI-enabled hardware. The goal is to democratize AI for those customers who can’t afford to rip out their existing systems, according to Brett Hannath, corporate vice president and chief marketing officer of Intel.

“What we’re trying to do is bring AI compute power into architectures people already understand, know and use today,” he told theCUBE in June.

As the industry continues to evolve, exclusive details around stealth startups, new solutions and products will be provided during the “AI Infrastructure Silicon Valley – Executive Series” event. Follow theCUBE’s wall-to-wall coverage for firsthand insights.
