Security intelligence and management solutions company Exabeam Inc. today announced the launch of the Exabeam APEX Partner Program, a partner-informed global channel initiative built to meet the evolving demands of today’s cybersecurity landscape.
The new program is being pitched by Exabeam as a “bold step forward” from its previous partner program by directly addressing persistent industry frustrations around rigid tiering, limited autonomy and inconsistent regional support. It also reflects insights gathered from a Voice of the Partner survey, one-on-one interviews and post-merger insights which underscore the long-term commitment Exabeam has to transparency, enablement and shared success.
“Too many programs in the market are rigid, complex and disconnected from what partners actually need. We listened and we built something different,” said Craig Patterson, global channel chief at Exabeam. “APEX prioritizes competency over contracts, enablement over transactions and collaboration over assumptions…. a structural reinvention, co-designed with partners to deliver measurable value, real-world impact and long-term growth.”
A key evolution of the Exabeam APEX Partner Program is the shift to a competency-based tiering model that rewards performance, not just sales volume. According to the results of the company’s Voice of the Partner survey, 27% of partners ranked training, certifications and business development as their top priorities, nearly double the 14% who cited incentives and rebates. The new program reflects the identified shift by aligning advancement with strategic enablement and technical expertise and delivering a transparent, achievable path to greater opportunities.
The Exabeam APEX Partner Program introduces flexible, competency-based tiering that rewards certifications, specializations and customer success rather than revenue thresholds. The approach offers a more equitable path to advancement based on real capabilities and impact.
Partners benefit from clear and predictable incentives, including starting discounts, stackable rebates and accelerators that reward commitment. Onboarding and pricing have also been streamlined to reduce friction and improve profitability across the board.
To support growth and innovation, the program includes role-based enablement with training aligned to Exabeam’s product roadmap. It also promotes strong go-to-market alignment across internal teams and allows for regional flexibility while maintaining a globally consistent structure.
“What sets the Exabeam APEX Partner Program apart is how deliberately it’s designed to drive partner success,” said Scott Goree, senior vice president of partner, alliances and ecosystems at Optiv Security Inc. “It’s not just one-off perks, it’s a complete ecosystem of stackable incentives, lead sharing and co-marketing that actually fuels growth. Exabeam isn’t just inviting us to the table, they’re handing us the playbook to win.”
Exabeam was in the news earlier this month when it unveiled an expansion of its Nova multi-agent artificial intelligence system with the addition of a cybersecurity strategy agent for security operations center leadership. The Nova Advisor Agent turns security data into a strategy that chief information security officers can defend in the boardroom.
