Corsha advances machine identity security with new automation and visibility capabilities

Machine-to-machine communications startup Corsha Inc. today announced new platform innovations that automate machine identity security management to help organizations gain control, scale up securely and reduce operational and cyber risk efficiently.

The latest release introduces Dynamic Machine Identity Discovery, Connection Canvas and a new integration with Dragos SiteStore that, together, give security and operational leaders the visibility, context and automated control needed to manage every machine and every connection with accuracy and scale.

The updates to the company’s platform seek to assist with the issue whereby modern industrial businesses and government agencies face constant pressure to move faster, produce more and modernize systems without disruption. Corsha argues that most existing operational technology networks lack automated discovery and control of assets and machine-to-machine communications, leaving critical blind spots and unmanaged operational and cyber risks. Additionally, as zero-trust principles expand into OT environments and artificial intelligence reshapes industries, organizations need the ability to see every connection and enforce trust with precision.

The update to Corsha’s platform delivers full lifecycle machine identity management with innovations that make discovery automatic, secure communications transparent and enforcement less complex.

“Machine-to-machine communication is the connective tissue of modern OT and industrial environments, but until now it has been largely invisible and uncontrolled,” said founder and Chief Executive Anusha Iyer. “With these advancements, we are giving security and operational leaders the ability to see every connection, understand its context and control when it happens.”

The new platform capabilities include Dynamic Machine Identity Discovery, a feature that automatically discovers all machines and the connections they make through any Corsha Gatekeeper, delivering accurate visibility and a foundation for identity control on OT networks.

A new feature called Connection Canvas shows which machines are talking to each other and over what protocols, helping security teams focus on critical communications and filter out the noise.

The final new release delivers integration with industrial cybersecurity solutions provider Dragos Inc. to import and merge machine identities and connections for unified management.

With the new features, organizations can continuously secure operational systems with trusted machine connections, prevent operational downtime caused by unverified access and stop breaches and ransomware before they spread across industrial networks.

Corsha is a venture capital-backed startup that has raised $32.9 million over seven rounds, including a round of $18 million in April. Investors in the company include SineWave Ventures, Razor’s Edge Ventures, Ten Eleven Ventures, Cybernetix Inc., Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. and 1843 Capital.
