Sumo Logic expands Dojo AI with new agentic tools for modern security operations

Data analytics software firm Sumo Logic Inc. today announced new advancements to Sumo Logic Doja AI, its agentic artificial intelligence platform for security operations, with new agents that accelerate investigations through external AI integrations and analyst-centric automation.

The new releases today include the SOC Analyst Agent, Knowledge Agent and a Model Context Protocol server that help security teams reduce alert fatigue, accelerate investigations and streamline security workflows. All three are designed to allow customers to focus on real threats and respond more effectively.

The release seeks to address the issue with security operation centers where a storm of complexity — growing alert volumes, fragmented tools and pressure to respond faster than ever — have created what Sumo Logic calls a “perfect storm.” Dojo AI brings intelligence and control to SOCs by combining agentic AI, log intelligence and secure model integration to transform how investigations are conducted.

“Security operations demand speed, rapid iteration and contextual intelligence,” explained Chief Development Officer Keith Kuchler. “Sumo Logic’s Dojo AI continues to expand its expertise by adding additional agents and honing the skills of those agents to solve real analyst challenges.”

The first new capability, the SOC Analyst Agent, which is launching today in beta, applies agentic AI reasoning to streamline triage and investigation. The agent delivers verdicts on alert severity, collects related activity and presents a clear context for analysts to quickly understand impact and scope.

Knowledge Agent provides immediate, AI-powered answers to “how-to” questions in natural language and, in doing so, reduces friction and accelerates onboarding. Customers can ask Mobot, Dojo AI’s conversational interface, for details and then receive straightforward, citable responses drawn from documentation and product knowledge for efficient self-service and faster platform adoption.

Finally, Sumo Logic MCP Server extends Dojo AI into a connected, agentic ecosystem. The server integrates customer-owned copilots, models and third-party AI systems into Dojo to allow organizations to bring their own AI while maintaining Sumo Logic’s scale, consistency and security.

Dojo AI was launched earlier this year as Sumo Logic’s agentic AI system for intelligent security operations. Within Dojo, agents can ingest signals and develop context-aware responses.

The SOC Analyst Agent and MCP server are currently available in beta and prototype to select customers. Sumo Logic plans to release both into general availability next year. The Knowledge Agent is available today within the Sumo Logic platform.
