Cybersecurity company Human Security Inc. today announced support for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore browser in its AgenticTrust service to ensure that artificial intelligence-powered agents built on Amazon Web Services Inc. infrastructure are cryptographically signed and secure.
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore is a platform for building and deploying agents securely at scale. The AgentCore browser tool allows agents to interact with websites and perform tasks such as automating research, streamlining operations and interacting with web-based applications.
The collaboration seeks to assist with the issue that although agentic commerce unlocks growth opportunities for online brands and businesses, it also introduces new risks, such as impersonation, misinformation, fraud and misuse.
Human Security argues that traditional bot management and fraud prevention tools are not designed to this risks. The company’s AgenticTrust service closes that gap by governing blocked and allowed actions by trusted agents.
“AI agents are redefining how businesses operate and interact across the web, creating powerful new opportunities, but also new trust and security requirements is paramount,” said Human Security Chief Executive Stu Solomon. “By using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore within AgenticTrust, we’re establishing a cryptographically verified framework that allows enterprises to securely build, deploy and manage AI agents using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.”
Human’s AgenticTrust provides cryptographic verification and action-based controls to govern what agents can and cannot do. The result gives businesses confidence that verified agent interactions are both authentic and aligned with their security policies.
Customers can set granular rules for each agent, such as allowing one to freely browse but not create an account or check out, while choosing a different set of guardrails for another agent. Human Security says the higher granularity is necessary for brands to embrace agentic commerce safely.
“At AWS, we’re committed to helping our customers deliver secure, seamless experiences powered by trusted automation,” said Kosti Vasilakakis, principal product manager at AWS. “Through our collaboration with Human Security, we’re making it easier for AI agents built with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to operate responsibly across the web, reducing friction while giving businesses and developers confidence in every verified agent interaction.”
Human Security is a venture capital-backed startup that has raised $299 million over eight rounds, including a round of more than $50 million in October 2024.
Investors in the company include Goldman Sachs Group Inc., ClearSky Security Fund Management LP, NightDragon LP, Vertex Ventures US LP, WestCap Management, AllianceBernstein Holding LP, Stereo Capital, Adams Street Partners, GoldenArc Capital LP, Scale Venture Partners LP, Canaan Management and DTCP Capital Management.
