Reps, a startup focused on making “execution readiness” measurable, today launched its artificial intelligence platform designed to help enterprises move from planning to action.
Although enterprise teams are still beginning to learn how to use AI and understand how it can accelerate everyday work, many are running into stumbling blocks. What companies are starting to discover is that AI can just as quickly amplify mistakes as it can serve as a planning assistant.
Reps says its core proposition is to “make readiness measurable.” “During my time at McKinsey and Oracle, I saw a recurring pattern: Strategies break down because readiness is invisible,” said founder and Chief Executive Bhakti Vithalani.
According to Vithalani, the platform is built on a simple but powerful idea taken from sports, which the company is named after: “reps.” The concept is that repeating an exercise — practicing it over and over — builds muscle memory, training it and scaling it up. Execution readiness is the ability to turn vision into action when it’s finally time to go. Reps is intended to be a safe space to execute, or to prepare, before outcomes are on the line.
Reps captures preparation before the moment that matters: screen recordings of practice with an AI assistant, draft proposals, voice notes with field insights. The analysis of these signals reveals the insights for what is currently working, what’s changing and what needs to change before prime time.
Vithalani explained that enterprises can measure customer sentiment with customer relationship management tools and resources with enterprise resource management, but these tools often fall short and they usually reveal what happened after the fact. That leaves business leaders with a visibility gap into how AI is affecting day-to-day strategy in real-world context.
Reps approaches this with three core components: Reps Profiles that showcase progress over time, Exchanges that contain proven practices and insights, and application programming interfaces that orchestrate handoffs and personalize AI.
The company said it has captured and analyzed more than 2.6 million multimodal reps across three areas since its founding, including accelerating go-to-market execution, building AI fluency and driving cross-functional execution at scale.
“Most leaders recognize the importance of AI,” said Adam Grant, prominent organizational psychologist and professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Reps adviser. “But few know where or how to deploy it.”
