ComodIT, a young Belgian startup has just launched its first IT Automation platform delivered as a service platform. It integrates in a single tool all the key IT delivery processes, from provisioning to orchestration, together with enterprise-class identity management, auditing and compliance. This launch fulfills ComodIT’s ambition to disrupt the legacy IT Automation software market much like salesforce.com disrupted the CRM market. ComodIT’s solution, being delivered as SaaS for a monthly subscription makes it affordable and easy for SMEs to leverage the power of IT Automation. Moreover, its ‘application marketplace’ makes it super easy to deploy any kind of server application, something like an ‘appstore’ for servers with one-click install.

In addition to offering IaaS, ComodIT now also supports the Rackspace Open Cloud. The company is also opening its Enterprise Application Marketplace, offering a place to share application templates. Finally, this Belgian startup has also made to the finals of the European LaunchPad competition that will take place today in Amsterdam.
