Ford + Audi seek developers for smart cars, AT&T joins the race
Ford, Audi, and AT&T unveiled new efforts when it comes to the connected car market at last week’s CES. Ford held a makeathon for app developers to create something that greatly complements its AppLink platform, Audi unveiled its Android tablet for cars, while AT&T introduced Drive and Drive Studio. This week’s WearableTech roundup features fashion-forward innovations such as the connected pendant from the collaboration of boutique jeweller Cellini and CSR, and the Elektra Nails, a glue-on nail that functions as a stylus for your touchscreen devices. Also featured in this week’s roundup is the SenseGiz STAR, a device that can be worn as a bracelet or clip on that monitors a person’s safety.
