Audyssey changes mobile music forever: updates iOS Music Player app
Audyssey Laboratories, Inc is a trailblazer when it comes to providing the mobile world with high-quality audio, and the latest launch further strengthens this point. Today they launched a major update to the Audyssey Music Player.
This update to the Music Player app will uniquely optimise the audio for any pair of headphones or portable Bluetooth speaker. This will ensure that you constantly get the best music listening experience with enhanced bass, tones and clarity.
Chris Kyriakakis, Audyssey’s founder and CTO says in a statement “After nearly a decade of solving the biggest problems in home theatre room acoustics, we are now applying this knowledge to headphones and portable speakers… Audyssey Music Player enables users to unlock the full potential of their playback devices by optimizing the content uniquely for each model so that it matches the characteristics of a well-calibrated studio.”
ExpertFit is the patented audio technology that the Audyssey Music Player is built on. The technology can individually adjust the playback device to compensate for variations in individual perception and audio characteristics. Audssey reportedly has the largest cloud-based collection with over 325 headphone and Bluetooth speaker profiles. With 75 manufacturers represented, models are regularly added to the database.
The Audyssey Music Player is available free of charge for iOS users on the App Store. Once the app has been downloaded, users will then pay $1.99 for each headphone profile and $2.99 for each Bluetooth speaker profile. Each profile comes with an initial 30-minute free trial period, so that users can appreciate the sound improvement before actually making their purchase.
