The Elite Eight contest
Previous rounds have narrowed down 64 starters to eight strong contenders. Here’s how the match-ups stand right now.
In the Wikibon Regionals, the famous actor John Cleese faces off against Tanmay Bakshi, a child app developer.
The SiliconANGLE Regionals feature Rami Rahim of Juniper Networks against Sanjay Poonen from VMware.
Over at theCUBE Regionals, Apcera’s Derek Collison goes toe-to-toe with Bill Schmarzo of EMC.
As for the #TechAthlete Regionals, Colin Mahony of HPE is slated to battle Tendu Yogurtcu from Syncsort.

The Elite Eight matchups run from Monday, 3/28 and finish up on Tuesday, 3/29. There’s still time to get your vote in for this crucial round!
The Final Four matches begin on Wednesday, 3/30, so stay tuned to see your winners through to the next round.
