Bento for iPad, Google Docs Primed for Business Tablets

Tablet apps have invaded just about every area possible, including the office. Businesses users represent a growing aspect of the mobile market, and as such, more and more developers begin to focus on the demand spurred from their direction. This week, SiliconANGLE put together a list of the top 5 workspace and productivity apps to have.

iPad

Bento for iPad

Bento for iPad is a personal organization app with a long track back of positive reviews. It lets users organize contacts, track projects and plan events with 25 built-in templates, and sync with a Mac via WiFi.

e-Task Project for iPad

e-Task Project for iPad is a mobile project management utility with several organization, scheduling and collaboration functionalities. These include the ability to track leads, time and task, management projects, maintain employee spreadsheets and store client information.

Dropbox

Dropbox is an extremely simple cloud-based file syncing service which covers just about every platform. The freemium app supports the iPad as well as iPhone and iPod Touch, Mac, Android as well as others, and allows users to store and share files, whether documents, media or other types, in the cloud.

Springpad

The latest version of Springpad, demonstrated in the Google I/Q gathering, now offers two major new improvements: offline access, and Honeycomb support. Users of this tremendously popular note-taking will now be able to save notes without an active internet connection, and access them from tablets such as the Xoom powered by Honeycomb 3.0.

Thinking Space

One of the first productivity tools to hit the iPad, this free cloud based mind mapping tool lets you visualize your notes and information via a simple and user-friendly interface. Thinking Space lets users quickly create extensive maps, export and send maps via e-mail, and sync these with one’s phone.
