Fortifying digital defenses: Atos and Dell form strategic alliance for enhanced cyber resiliency
As technology becomes increasingly intertwined with the human experience and business operations, the need for robust cyber resiliency strategies has never been more pressing.
Cyber threats are mutating rapidly, posing a monumental threat to companies as they scramble to safeguard their environments. Atos SE has tapped Dell Technologies Inc. to bridge the enterprise resiliency gap.
“Every client I speak to today is talking about the security of their environment,” said Michael Grunberg (pictured, right), chief executive officer, North America, of Atos. “It’s business critical; it’s a constant battle. It’s an evolution in terms of the sophistication of cyberattacks and ransomware attacks. We’ve got to evolve our capabilities to adjust and adapt to the evolution of these types of attacks.”
Grunberg and Taoufiq Haddane (pictured, left), chief technology officer and head of architecture at Atos, spoke with theCUBE industry analyst Rob Strechay at the Cyber Resiliency Summit, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed topics surrounding cyber resiliency, Atos’ approach and its pivotal partnership with Dell. (* Disclosure below.)
A meticulous, gapless approach
The specifics of Atos’ cyber resiliency projects emphasize a tailored approach that prioritizes efficacy. At the core of that approach is customization, aligning solutions with the unique context of each customer. The cyber resiliency project encompasses a comprehensive strategy, fine-tuning solutions to address specific business goals, continuity plans, disaster recovery processes and IT environments, according to Haddane.
“First, we customize the solution to enhance the customer’s security posture, leveraging our deep understanding of their cyber trails,” he said. “We align the solution with customer-specific risk landscape, enhancing their defense strategy by either using their existent cybersecurity risk assessment or conducting new ones. Then we fine-tune the solution to meet the customer’s unique needs.”
The strategic alliance with Dell allows Atos to enhance its ability to protect and defend client environments against evolving threats. Dell’s Cyber Vault, a key component in fortifying security, complements Atos’ capabilities and ability to provide a comprehensive solution, according to Grunberg.
