Rypple Captures the Pulse of Organization with Social Feed

From the latest in social enterprise trends comes a new launch from Rypple, a web-based SaaS platform.  The new product is called Flow, a newsfeed optimized for large format TV monitors especially built for shared workplaces.  It provides critical information in real-time, instantly transforming a plan wall into a valuable engagement tool to help teams stay effective and dynamic.  It also flashes the most recent news that matters to the company for teams stay informed.

“When employees know where they stand and what is expected of them, they are more engaged and they perform better,” said Daniel Debow, co-CEO of Rypple.

“We built Rypple to help companies create social, collaborative, visible workplaces, and Rypple Flow keeps you connected to what’s happening at work—regardless of what’s up on your desktop.”

Rypple is basically a social networking tool for your company, with application potential across departments.  For the human resources department, employees can immediately view and offer feedback on the performance of anyone who matters to the company.  It boasts Facebook’s social interaction capabilities and Foursquare’s badges and achievements, finding unique ways to incorporate gaming techniques into a work environment.  As a social performance platform that’s suited to the way people work today, it requires no wearisome download and installation processes, so enterprises can focus on company management and the achievement of goals.  It is a direct competitor to services like Jive and Yammer  that are making waves in the social enterprise movement.

The company’s social platform has been serving hundreds of companies such as Facebook, Gilt Groupe, and Photobucket, helping them celebrate success publicly, perform fast, efficient feedback loops, and coach employees to achieve their goals.

“Instead of waiting for a company town hall meeting or monthly newsletter, with Rypple people can immediately recognize people in other departments and recognize collaboration on goals,” says Jennifer Ricci, VP of Employee Experience at Kobo. “Everyone can rally around goals with real-time recognition.”

Existing customers of Rypple’s Premium and Phenomenal plans can avail of the new tool for free.  For new customers, you can choose from any of the three versions available: Freemium which provides basic capabilities; Rypple Premium, which charges $5 per user per month with added access to Rypple goals, real-time peer feedback, one-on-one coaching, and recognition applications; and Rypple Phenomenal for $9 per user per month and inclusive of Rypple’s rapid performance summary application, Loop, extensive support, rollout, and integration into existing company work systems.
