Copado Inc., a low-code DevOps solution provider for Salesforce, today announced the release of Agentia, an artificial intelligence solution that embeds context-aware AI agents into Salesforce.
The solution brings AI agents directly into the software delivery lifecycle, where development teams work to build, test and release software. Operating autonomously and alongside development and operations teams, they participate directly in delivery – by generating code, executing tests, diagnosing failures and helping maintain control.
As development and operations teams face tightening schedules and complex workflows amid the era of AI coding, which is accelerating release cycles, DevOps teams face an ever-increasing cadence. Combining software development and operations with automation, now increasingly using AI, has become the drumbeat of the modern release cycle, and Copado believes the new pattern is AgentOps.
AgentOps represents a set of practices and frameworks for the delivery and usage of agents for autonomous decisions. Although Copado works within the DevOps industry, AI agents themselves are nondeterministic actors capable of a broad range of skills, but they can also be unpredictable. This makes them extremely powerful, but they must be monitored and governed by being provided the right context and information to work with.
Copado said Agentia resolves this by becoming a foundation for Salesforce DevOps to reliably use agentic AI.
“Since we pioneered Salesforce-native automation, the shift from DevOps to AgentOps marks a significant evolution in software delivery that requires we reinvent the platform powering it,” Chief Product Officer Rajit Joseph said.
Joseph added that the company has moved beyond simple assistants to agentic AI to make this possible. DevOps depends on complex lifecycles and that means specialized agents cooperate alongside humans to create operational workflows.
Inside Agentia, Copado now delivers multiple components, including a hub for contextual agentic understanding for Salesforce dependencies, pipelines and history all in one place. The components include specialized, lifecycle-aware agents within Agentia itself, which embed into the DevOps lifecycle, and a primary orchestration agent that interacts with users to coordinate activity and manage multistep workflows.
DevOps teams also have access to Agentia Studio, a workspace for designing and customizing agents and workflows within Salesforce Agentforce and Agentia. Teams can work together to create their own specialized agents — skills that can tackle specific needs and execute specific repeatable tasks across development, testing and release.
“While many vendors are still experimenting with AI features, Agentia brings governed agents directly into production delivery workflows, putting Copado customers in the driver’s seat of the AgentOps revolution with the scale, speed and trust,” said Chief Executive Ted Elliott.
