Cybersecurity asset management startup Axonius Inc. today unveiled three expansions to its Asset Cloud platform that see the addition of artificial intelligence-driven remediation, extended coverage to industrial and internet of things environments, and the introduction of a new data integrity layer designed to underpin automated security workflows.
Announced at the company’s Adapt 2026 conference, the offerings include Axonius Exposures with embedded AI capabilities, Axonius Cyber-Physical Assets and Axonius Verified Assets. They address what the company describes as a persistent gap between security investment and security action.
Axonius Exposures now includes AI-powered recommended actions for each security finding, ranked by expected impact. Attack-path analysis drives prioritization based on real exploitability rather than severity scores alone.
The update also adds Security Finding Rules that push exposure management beyond Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures-based vulnerabilities to cover security-relevant conditions. Those include identity hygiene gaps and software-as-a-service misconfigurations across all 1,400-plus Axonius adapters and 45 asset types.
A new Axonius Vulnerability Score integrates asset criticality and active exploitation signals to sharpen prioritization and automated ownership assignment maps each finding to a responsible owner using organizational context already present in the platform.
Axonius Cyber-Physical Assets, the second major announcement today, extends the capabilities Axonius gained through its acquisition last year of Cynerio Israel Ltd., which brought operational technology and IoT device discovery expertise first developed for healthcare environments.
The new offering targets manufacturing, utilities, energy and critical infrastructure. It does so by identifying and fingerprinting cyber-physical devices and then enriching them with contextual attributes and correlating them with information technology assets in a unified model.
The third announcement today, Axonius Verified Assets, addresses a data quality problem amplified by AI adoption. Axonius argues that because AI agents act on inputs without questioning them, inaccurate asset data compounds into worse decisions at large scale.
Verified Assets continuously reconciles each asset record against multiple trust signals, separating verified records from duplicates, ghost assets and stale data and surfacing records that fail verification with specific failure analysis.
“Security environments have grown more distributed, more dynamic and more complex and when teams can’t fully understand their environment, they simply cannot act,” said Joe Diamond, president and interim chief executive officer of Axonius. “Findings pile up because the data isn’t trusted, ownership isn’t clear and entire asset classes aren’t even in the picture. Today we’re closing all three gaps – with Axonius AI that drives remediation in Axonius Exposures, built on a platform that now covers cyber-physical environments.”
Core Axonius Exposures capabilities, including predefined risk scoring and security finding rules, are generally available today. Threat intelligence enrichment, attack path analysis and automated ownership assignment will reach general availability through May 2026, and AI-driven recommended remediations are in early access now, with general availability expected in July 2026.
Axonius Cyber-Physical Assets is in early access, with general availability planned for the second half of the year. Axonius Verified Assets is currently in preview.
