During the last week of September, theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, interviewed some heavy hitters in the Big Data industry in New York City at BigDataNYC 2015. Here are some of the highlights of the series:

Joel Horwitz and Ryan Peterson

In the past, we have found that some of our guests bring exclusive newsworthy stories to theCUBE about innovative projects and partnerships. During the BigDataNYC 2015 event, Joel Horwitz, VP of Big Data marketing for IBM, and Ryan Peterson, chief solutions strategist for EMC, revealed that EMC and IBM began a collaborative project in an open-source environment in an effort to make Hadoop more accessible to the enterprise.
