Mission-critical mobile: How one company has succeeded with instant digitization | #SAPPHIRENOW

SAP has woven together a network of millions of developers who all use the SAP HANA platform. Innovaptive, Inc. is making use of the platform to help developers work more closely together.

Thorsten Leiduck, global VP Platform Ecosystem & eChannels at SAP, and Sundeep Ravande, president and cofounder at Innovapptive, Inc., sat down with John Furrier (@furrier) and Peter Burris (@plburris), cohosts of theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, during SAP Sapphire 2016 in Orlando, Florida.

Innovaptive’s mission

Innovaptive understands the business processes driving app development. The company saw the SAP HANA cloud platform as its doorway to connecting developers where mobile was mission critical.

“Our focus is to enable instant digitization by connecting people, processes and things,” explained Ravande.

The SAP HANA cloud ecosystem

Millions of users are using the SAP HANA platform, so it makes sense to connect these users in a way that helps them innovate. The more users you have connected to the ecosystem, the easier it is for everyone, according to Leiduck.

“Basically, our goal is to drive HANA cloud platform adoption. … Every customer should have it,” he said.

The Future of SAP

One of the important aspects of the future of SAP is that its users do not compete with one another. Focusing on the roadmap to align customers well will ensure this doesn’t happen.

“It’s important that we align well as developers.  We don’t want our partner to compete with us,” said Ravande.
