Zynga Poker Hits Android, by way of Facebook

Today, during the Facebook mobile event, Zynga – the notorious game developer – announced their new Android game entitled “Zynga Poker”. The Android app game supports Facebook’s new mobile single sign-in, which means that the Facebook login information can be used.

To have the image of Zynga in the social gaming environment, it should be mentioned that Zynga Poker hosts almost 6 million players per day and it has almost 400,000 active players. Another social games connected to Zynga are FarmVille, Mafia War or Frontier Ville.

Recently, Zynga was contacted by Puppet Labs in order to improve and to maintain the servers. The fast paced growing rate that Zynga has requires automatic processing, portable infrastructure and flexibility. The outcome of their collaboration could be seen in Zynga’s enhanced consistency.

Altogether with the stability and expansion that Zynga faces lately, there are also issues regarding the confidentiality of gathered data from Facebook users. Zynga was accused of leaking information and the lawsuit that was filed on the 19th of October was intended to indemnify for the loses of Facebook users.

Meanwhile, Facebook and Zynga are making steps in order to achieve an IPO. Both partners established stipulations for their 500 shareholders between $2500 and $6000. Therefore, the awareness of the increased popularity of Facebook and Zynga is being protected effectively against the possible too early public trade.
