Video Kinect Connects Xbox Users

Video chat’s expansion is overwhelming and with the launch of Video Kinect, the connectivity between users of internet via mobile, PC or Xbox is much eased. At the moment Video Kinect is available only in U.S. but it will soon be disposable worldwide.

Video Kinect is not just enabling Xbox users to communicate via media, but the new device brings genuine features for web cams. The new Kinect’s smart cams are able to follow up the speaker, to zoom autonomously and re-size if there are multiple subjects in the video capture.

The experience of video chatting from PC or Mac with a Xbox user is similar as from PC to PC. The quality of the video and its novel features are improved by the flawless Microfost webcams – LifeCam Studio.

The interest in video chatting is amazingly developing, enforcing the statement that “Video chatting from your PC or Mac with someone who’s using Video Kinect on Xbox LIVE gives you the same full-screen experience as when you chat with someone on a PC. Microsoft webcams such as the new LifeCam Studio work seamlessly with Messenger including features like Call Button that make easy for you to start a video call with your Messenger contacts and Xbox friends. And of course, whether you’re on an Xbox, a PC, or a Mac, you can also send text IMs while you video chat.”

Recently, the invasion of improvements in video chatting was started by Facebook, who released FaceTime – an Apple application for PC and mobiles. In response to the mentioned offensive, Skype introduced together with the 5.0 update a new feature in terms of video connectivity.  See here for more details.
