Local Shopping Sites Get Aggressive as Holiday Shopping Sets In

Real-time online shopping website and coupon service Milo has announced it’s launching a new coupon feature. This new addition offers users exclusive discounts from retailer partners and additional ones from coupon aggregator Spotzot, redeemable at over 28,000 local stores and counting.

“New coupons are introduced daily and, alongside Milo.com’s simplified interface and improved search speed, help even more shoppers quickly find the best price on a desired product near them.”

Milo’s coupons are available in the form of both dollars and percentages of a given item.  The website’s enhanced search option and greater convenience is obviously there to increase its coupons’ – notably the exclusive ones’ – popularity even further, by maximizing user experience and of course demand.

Getting the best deal available is one of the most alluring options a website can present to its users, and in addition to Milo, many others have discovered the potential of this billion dollars coupon and discount market, including Google.  Google has added Hotpot to Places and Deals, as the new feature provides users the option to check a local business’s recommendations online.  Furthermore, location-based social network Gowalla is expanding its reach as it announced today a partnership with Disney, as the company will offer custom versions of Gowalla’s products to Disneyland visitors.
