Dell Streak Goes On Sale in China

image I had an opportunity to play with the Dell Streaks recently at the Dell Storage Forum event SiliconANGLE live broadcast from earlier this summer. Very responsive interface as compared to many other Android devices in that price range.

Dell will release the Streak 10 Pro tablet in the Chinese market later this Summer. the tablet is powered by the Google Android Honeycomb OS and has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) multitouch display, and a 1GHz dual core nVidia Tegra 2 processor.

Other features include 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video chat, an SDHC card reader, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR. No info on pricing yet. Hopefully we will know soon.

Not only are they slick pieces of equipment, they are likely to be much more popular in China do to the national affinity to Android and the hardware hacking culture that’s so prevalent there.
