All You Geeky Girls! Welcome to the Bay Area Girl Geek Event

Here we have some good news for the geeky girls! Atlassian is partnering with the Bay Area Girl Geek Dinner organization to host its first ever Bay Area Girl Geek event, and is inviting 175 women in tech from around the Bay Area. Named as “From Bat Cave to Boardroom: Mastering Change in the World of High Tech”, the event will have a special guest panel, involving some eminent ladies from the tech world.

Set the date on your calendar: November 14th, 2012.

The highlight of the event is that it will allow panelists to discuss tips, tricks, and anecdotes on how women can take advantage of changes happening in the high tech world. Besides, the panelists will also touch on a broad range of related topics, including the highs and lows of being a female executive, unique assets that female entrepreneurs bring to the business, and whether the gender gap is overplayed.

The guest panel includes following personalities:

• Sarah Lacy of PandoDaily
• Audra Eng, Atlassian’s vice president of product management
• Catherine Norman, Atlassian’s director of corporate communications
• Patricia Nakache of Trinity Ventures
• Rebecca Buckman, journalist (moderator)
