Roambi Business Delivers Big Data Visualization from the Cloud

Roambi has launched a new version of their service today that is cloud-based called Roambi Business.  The product is designed to help businesses of all sizes access and visualize data in exciting new ways.  Roambi has been in the mobile business intelligence business for some time now with a focus on iPhone and later iPad visualization.  The product had previously required a build-out of infrastructure in an on-premise scenario.  Roambi Business now utilizes the power of Amazon’s cloud to eliminate concerns of the initial install and ongoing support.  The product is immediately available on yearly contracts with a ten user minimum at $39 per user per month.  The application is readily available in Apple’s App Store for rapid installation.  This alignment of cloud platform and powerful visualizations brings Roambi further into the enterprise Big Data and business intelligence arena.

Roambi Business extends big data insights to every level of an organization, providing line managers to C-level executives with the ability to view and interact with up-to-the minute company information from the palm of their hand.

In a briefing with Quinton Alsbury, President of Product Innovation, it was clear that user-design, ease of use, accessibility, and rapid value were among the strongest of guiding principles when it came to the new product.  The new application also replaces the previous Flash-based system.  With a touch-centric focus and HTML foundation, Roambi delivers a user interface focused product that is simply brilliant to behold.  With polished interfaces, layers and navigation that come ready to go but are still completely customizable, it boasts the ability to get up and running in environments easily and quickly.    This is augmented by a new API that allows data to be automated to the Roambi ecosystem and it creates rapid and consistent reports.

“A growing number of organizations of all sizes across nearly every industry are  recognizing the advantages of leveraging cloud-based analytic solutions to meet their escalating business needs,” said Jeffrey M. Kaplan, Managing Director of THINKstrategies, Inc. and founder of the Cloud Computing Showplace.  “RoambiBusiness provides a secure cloud platform to address these needs and the North American Partner Program creates a network of experienced experts who can help organizations with  their cloud deployments.”

Roambi has also launched a North American Partner Program that is designed to help get integrators and resellers into the mix.  This mix of powerful partner alliances and support along with the rapid nature of deployment and minimized ongoing support makes for a compelling proposition to those of any size in the industry that are interested.   Over 100 partners worldwide are ready to resell the product.  As Alsbury noted, Roambi Business is for any business across the spectrum, from a startup to the enterprise, there’s no reason for traditional IT to get in the way of rapid consumption of this powerful and accessible product.

“Data of all sizes is breaking loose from the iron grip of on-premise databases and moving to the cloud,” said Santiago Becerra, cofounder and CEO of Roambi. “By bringing the Roambi experience to the cloud we are offering mobile workers in organizations of all sizes the ability to access and use critical business data whenever and wherever it makes sense. Roambi is at the nexus of three converging business trends: cloud computing, big data, and mobility. With the launch of Roambi Business we feel we are in a strong position to help our customer and partner network maximize business success while capitalizing on these technology trends.”
