The company is extending this strategy to analytics with the introduction of a new converged infrastructure offering for SAP HANA. Announced yesterday at CeBit, Huawei’s latest FusionCube appliance enables users to run the in-memory database with offers 5 times less latency and 15 times more bandwidth than a leading alternative solution, the firm said. Through open collaboration with our strategic partners, we will continue to provide leading innovative and differentiated products and solutions, working to achieve our goal to become an optimal partner for ICT innovation,” Xu reiterated in a statement.

In addition to the new FusionCube, Huawei announced a collaboration with SAP to “explore opportunities” in the BYOD and smart city domains. The pair will bundle their respective infrastructure and software products into integrated solutions for managing mobile devices and providing citizen services.
