Locations include Apple Stores, as well as specialized boutiques around the world, like Dover Street Market in London and Tokyo, The Corner in Berlin, Maxfield in Los Angeles, and certain Apple Authorized Resellers in China and Japan.
As with the pre-orders, the try-on appointment bookings have also been in high demand. Such high demand in fact that the booking system went down at approximately 1:05 a.m.

While Katy Huberty, a analyst, makes an even higher projection, estimating that it will sell 30 million watches. As with iPhone pre-orders, Apple is likely to announce on Monday their pre-order Apple Watch sales numbers for the first weekend. Next week will reveal just how much of the smart watch market they have captured in the first weekend.
