HP Z 800 is an Award-Winning Workstation Release

HP recently introduced their HP Z 800 workstations designed for filmmaking and creating special effects. HP sponsored the 20 workstations the filmmakers will use to participate at the 24th edition of AFI Fest.

AFI Conservatory hosted the HP Lab, which enabled the masters of Fine Arts program to shoot and edit their stories. The novelty in HP Z 800 workstations comprises special devices which enable the approach of different new techniques such as 3D, animation, stop-motion video and special effects in terms of sound, lighting and background.

Robert Mandel, the dean of American Film Institute Conservatory sees in HP’s support “The marriage of art and technology in storytelling is here, HP’s generosity and the HP Z Workstations provide AFI Fellows the latest tools to tell their tales”.

HP workstations have been used in recent Hollywood blockbusters such as “Avatar”, “Shrek”, “Happy Feet” or “The Pirates of the Caribbean”.

From HP’s side Jeff Wood , the director of Worldwide Marketing, Workstations HP – commented the company’s implication and support in the arts fields “It is imperative to provide the next great filmmakers with the tools they need to produce the films that will inspire their generation, customers around the world choose HP workstations for the best in performance and reliability, and we need future filmmakers pushing the limits of our workstations and bringing out the best in HP.”

The capabilities of HP Z 800 Workstations have been proven in different circumstances from animations, graphic design, photography, high definition video to special effects, assuring billions of dollars profit in this sector.

It’s important for HP to demonstrate its use case scenarios for various niches where its products apply.  We’re doing a great deal more video-related content here at SiliconANGLE, and it’s easy to recognize how quickly the quality of your equipment and related tools for production and storage become.  HP’s venturing into a myriad of directions right now, as are its competitors.  One thing to note, however, is the growing influence of video as a media form in entertainment, education, advertising and more.  This will be another opportunity for HP to combine a few of its offerings, especially in the cloud marketing sector.
