Bebo’s Resurge Brings bChat & Birch Back
A leader in cutting edge chatting technology, vChatter has been chosen to power Bebo’s bChat. It’s a revolutionary video chat system that will pair people with the same interests, age, social preferences and those within the same geography. The exciting news for chat enthusiasts across the globe was delivered by Kevin Bachus, Chief Product Officer of Bebo: “bChat gives our users the ability to jump into each other’s world, introducing new friends from around the corner or halfway across the planet.”
Because of its power to pair compatible people in terms of the aforementioned elements, chatting will be more fun and exciting. This really extends on the idea of video chat being able to flow through recommendations similarly to Pandora, which was discussed in an interview Kristen Nicole held with vChatter CEO Will Bunker.
bChat has the ability to match Bebo users all over the world through video conferencing. However, to ensure that all video conversations and interactions are clean and are not going beyond limitations, the technology monitors all activities.
bChat will be rolled out to Bebo’s social networking niche immediately, and the one-on-one conversations and private video conferencing will face limelight early part of 2011. This innovation is just the beginning of the many system enhancements that will be realized as far as Bebo is concerned. Bebo originals will be re-launched first quarter of next year as well. The social network is undergoing a few changes in this re-launch effort, with news of co-founder Michael Birch returning to Bebo in an advisory role.
The same report also quoted vChatter’s Chief Executive Officer, Will Bunker, as he expressed huge confidence in the partnership with Bebo. “Video chat with vChatter brings the human element to online communication and we think bChat will be a great opportunity for Bebo members to develop friendships with other members they haven’t had a chance to meet,” said Bunker.
It is also good to know that vChatter has been very active in revolutionizing ways people meet and chat within different platforms. One of the things that the company addresses is the “being personal” of interactions since most of these happens on the web. The goal to personalize each conversation and make each one clean inspired Bunker to launch several improvements, including the private alternative for Chatroulette.
