Nevermind that Silly Sheen #tigerblood, Bing’s Bringing #kittenblood to SXSW

For those of you that have been hiding out under a rock, you might not have heard  that there is a really big tech event going in Austin Texas this coming week. It’s something called SXSWi (otherwise known as South X SouthWest interactive) and it has  become a the tech geek pilgrimage.

This year though, it seems is a special one for the Bing team as they are coming to Austin bearing #kittenblood.

Apparently this hashtag came about because Bing will be partnering with the I Can Has Cheezburger network to bring event goers “The INTERNET is SERIOUS BUSINESS” party at SXSW.

That won’t be the only event that the Bing team will be taking part in.  Here is a list of the other activities that they will be involved in:

  • Bing Demo Booth in SXSW Trade Show Hall (March 13-17@11AM–6PM): Grab a plateful of Bing demo with a side of sweet swag.
  • Street-team hoodie “Bing it forward” giveaway
  • Bing breakfast with influentials we meet at SXSW
  • Bing street team video demoing product features and capturing the excitement
  • Loopt@SXSW Bing swag giveaway (Sunday March 13th 8:45am-9:45am). Get the app for details.

So if you happen to be going to SXSW drop by any of the Bing events and let them know that the crew at @WinExtra says hi.
