EMC World Live Coverage at EMC World 2011 in Las Vegas – theCube Summer Tour 11
The SiliconANGLE and Wikibon Cube Summer Tour 2011 kicks off next week starting Monday at EMC World 2011. Dave Vellante and I will be hosting live with commentary, analysis, opinion, and guest interviews starting Monday at 9:30am on SiliconANGLE.tv.
We have 40 guest scheduled from 15 companies all prepared to come inside theCube to share their knowledge.
Last year at EMC World 2010 in Boston SiliconANGLE started theCube live broadcast. It was the beginning of our event coverage as the leading independent video tech coverage or as some have said “the live ESPN of Tech” of major tech events. Since EMC World 2010, we’ve had over 3 million views and interviewed over 300 amazing guests.
We’ll be broadcasting live each day from 9:30-5pm except Monday which we will have a special C-Level FlashCube starting at 6pm with EMC President Pat Gelsinger. Note: FlashCube is part of theCube and is a special impromtu presentation during the event where we highlight the some of the key trends and voices of the show.
Like last year at EMC World theCube brought out the big guns from EMC – Joe Tucci, Pat Gelsinger, Howard Elias, Michael Capellas, Jeremy Burton, Brian Gallagher, Tom Rolloff, Chad Sakac, Chuck Hollis, Hugo Patterson, and others companies like Steve Herrod. Expect the same this year.

The EMC event will be timed with Interop in Vegas so it will be full of tech news. EMC’s big focus this year is cloud and big data. It will also mark the one year mark since Jeremy Burton has been at the marketing helm at EMC. EMC World 2011 will be 100% under the leadership of Jeremy Burton so I’m expecting a big show with tons of content and flair.
Here is EMC’s positioning from their event website EMCWorld 2011.
Change is in the Air.
Cloud. Big Data. IT in Transition.
EMC World has become the premier forum to immerse yourself in this new world. From advanced technical training to meet ups with some of the industry’s most influential thought leaders, EMC World is where it’s happening.
