WP7 phone application releases are stacking up by the day. Angry Birds is now available on the Microsoft platter, and these pigs are built from the ground up to annoy the living snot out of you.
Good news from Microsoft, then, as Windows Phone 7 can finally be admitted at the grown-up table now that it has released its port of Rovio’s epic bird-launching experience,” reports Engadget.
$2.99 is the Marketplace price for the full version, though there’s also the option to try out the first few levels for free. Because, you know, there might still be people out there who haven’t yet been exposed to the charms of this perniciously addictive little game.
As a fairly casual Angry Birds player, I’m very aware of the game’s popularity. Very surprised that Angry Birds arrived this late to Windows Phone 7. Yesterday, I mentioned that Kik Messenger entered the same realm.
It’s very interesting to suddenly witness all of this. Why is Windows Phone 7 starting to pick itself up off the floor? Maybe it was the right time to have an epiphany.
Still, it’s going to take a lot to get me to budge off an Apple platform. Kudos to Angry Birds for maintaining a high fan base despite the competition with games and platforms. Super interested in the next WP7 release.
THANK YOU
