LulzSec’s Sabu Exposed – Court Documents Released

A release of the conspiracy charges being released today against LulzSec leader Hector Xavier Monsegur, known as “Sabu” have turned up on the Internet.  The document lays out the various charges in the case and is littered with charges such as fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy, access device fraud, Identity theft, just to name a few.  Specifically named are the various operations attributed to LulzSec and some associated with Anonymous and it reads like a who’s who list of the most significant attacks of 2011 and includes the following:

    • Operation Payback
    • Tunisia
    • Operation Algeria
    • Operation Yemen
    • Operation Zimbabwe
    • HBGary Attack
    • Tribune Company
    • Fox
    • Sony
    • Sony Music
    • Sony Pictures
    • PBS
    • Nintendo
    • Infragard-Atlanta
    • Unveillance
    • U.S. Senate
    • Bethesda Softworks

The twelve counts are illustrated in detail within the document, which indicates the amount of evidence is extraordinary.

“the defendant, and others known and unknown, willfully and knowingly, comined, conspired, confederated, and agreed together and with each other to engage in computer hacking.”

Some have taken to releasing Monsegur’s personal information on the Internet, for reasons unclear.   It is obvious that Sabu’s days of anonymity are over.  The release from the FBI’s website can be found here.
