Dell World 2012 will kick off on December 11-13, 2012 at the Austin Convention Center at Austin, Texas.  There, Dell invites you to “Discover how to master the forces shaping IT’s landscape” at their premier event.

Attendees will hear keynotes from the company’s CEO Michael Dell, former US President Bill Clinton, Economist Steven D. Levitt, Journalist Stephen J. Dubner, Gary J. Beach M.D., Dell president and chief commercial officer Stephen J. Felice, Entrepreneur Ping Fu, management expert Gary Hamel, Samasource founder and CEO Leilah Janah, Qualcomm president and COO Steve Mollenkopf, Director of MIT Media Lab Frank Moss, Dell senior VP and CMO Karen Quintos, and Dell’s first entrepreneur in residence Ingrid Vanderveldt.

Attendees can carefully plan their busy day with the Dell World Session Preview, and if they have time for some touring they can check out Dell’s hometown – Austin.  Austin is also home to SXSW Music, Film and Interactive conferences to the Austin City Limits Music Festival.  Austin is also famous for food trucks, which will be available to attendees on December 11 at the Austin Convention Center.  If you want to explore Autin on your own or if you’ve already planned on extending your stay after the event, check out some great destinations here.

Dell World is not all about business, as they’ve got some great acts to keep everyone entertained.  From Camp Freddy – a group of established musicians who play rock and roll covers at various shows around the US, to Vallejo and Bob Schneider.

Mobile apps for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone will deliver content such as audio, video, PDF, web content, or any Microsoft Office format, as well as allow users to stream or download audio or video files for offline use, recognize social applications available to share content and topic filtering content so it will be easy to browse all related content in one place.
