U.S. GSA Approves HP Enterprise Mobility Management
HP has followed up on its major upgrade for its Enterprise Mobility Management product and service suite announcement earlier this week by winning approval for the suite from the U.S. General Services Administration to sell the suite to U.S. government agencies.
The eligibility shows that HP has demonstrated that it can provide and integrate Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions within a federal infrastructure. HP will address the federal government’s requirements for managing mobile devices with solutions that meet workforce and user demand for increased access and application adoption. It will support a broader range of operating systems and models and allow agencies to streamline operations, increase workforce productivity, and manage costs.
To address the wide disparity in existing government agency IT environments, budget constraints, and differing approaches to mobile device integration, HP offers Enterprise Mobility solutions based on four major MDM/MAM products to meet MDM/MAM requirements and provide flexible solutions. Additionally, the HP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Mobility service available for commercial and public sector organizations provides secure MDM/MAM service through the HP cloud infrastructure.
Hp Mobility Solutions are available to U.S. government agencies through multiple IDIQ contract vehicles, including the GSA Connections II, GSA Alliant, Chief Information Officer — Solutions and Partner 2 (CIO-SP3), DoJ ITSS4, VA T4, and VA VRM.
