The beta version of iCloud.com website has been given a visual update. Apple has updated iCloud.com beta for developers by introducing the icons of some applications with a graphical style iOS 7, the new version of the mobile operating system for iPhone and iPad.
The iCloud.com beta update of iOS 7 design is not confined to the main menu. It reaches every corner of the web page eliminating every trace of Scott Forstall and contributing minimalism design of Jony Ive. The icons have been redesigned with the same simplicity of iOS 7.
The comprehensive redesign also includes the new unlock screen with rounded numerals, multiple pages for each app, cleaner typography all around, full screen edge-to-edge photos, ability to swipe between messages or apps, the notifications center available directly from lock screen, and “today view” which shows all that’s on tap for the day from all information saved in iCloud and in your calendar.
Among the new graphics for iCloud.com are new icons for Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes and Reminders apps. The Find My iPhone has been simplified and made compatible with a “flat” design-style. This adds facelift white, minimalist menus and transparencies, which makes the iCloud website is fully consistent with the new version of iOS.
iCloud Beta version currently focuses solely on aesthetic changes by using the icons, fonts and other graphic elements. Among the functional change, there is a new quick menu that allows you to switch from one application to another without having to return to the home page.
Calendar gets a graphics much cleaner than the previous version, characterized by a red color. Notes and Reminders radically changed in design reflecting that its applications for iOS 7. In general, the site is much more pleasant than the version currently in use and probably will come from the state of “beta” to stable with the release of iOS 7.
iOS 7 is likely to be launched by Apple in autumn, not too long after the event scheduled for September 10 in which the Cupertino company is rumored to announce a series of new products, including iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
